about
Finally after 21 years, 14 months, 9 days,17 hours, 0.4 seconds since his debut gig, Curntables delivers his first solo single with the unrelated title of 'Cruise Ship' and by gum it was well worth the wait.
The man himself describes his craft as an on going love and hate affair with many musical genres, which really is unsurprising when all things are considered.
Just see, hear and taste it for yourself.
The track lends itself to the disco era with the other foot in the forgotten mid 80's regurgitated pop craze that swept across all continents at the time. Rumours also have it that DJ Steve Dahl has been playing 'Cruise Ship' on repeat, even though it is unbeknownst to me how he managed to get a promo.
To sum it all up, this particular piece of is fit for any of the so called cooler clubs, back rooms and toilets etc, not to mention it being a potential mainstay for most Dive Bars worldwide.
Anyways.....have a listen.....maybe throw down a boogie or two too when trying it on for size.
